Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment
A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a preliminary investigation that evaluates the environmental condition of a commercial property. It consists of the physical inspection of a property, the research the property's current and historical uses to determine if there are any potential environmental contamination.
-
Due Diligence Assessment
Before you buy any property or start making site planning decisions, request a review of its environmental conditions, existing permits, and we will assess its development constraints and opportunities.
-
Environmental Assessment
Prior to issuing site permits, most agencies will request a report evaluating the natural resources present on site. Know your resources to better manage them and plan your project.
-
Wetland Delineation
Hire a certified Professional Wetland Scientist to determine whether you have wetland areas on your site and their legal boundaries under Florida and federal laws.
-
Listed Species
Listed species abound in Florida: Gopher Tortoises, Sandhill Cranes, Crested Caracara, Florida Burrowing Owl, Wood Storks, Florida Scrub Jay... We can provide survey services to evaluate the potential presence of these species, and prepare conservations measures, management plans, mitigation plans, and for some species, relocation services.
-
Environmental Resource Permitting
Let us guide you through your environmental permitting efforts with the following regulating agencies: Federal (USACE, USFWS), State (FDEP, SFWMD, FFWCC), and local (Cities and Counties).
-
Seagrass (SAV) Surveys
Proposed construction activities (e.g. docks, dredging) in shallow waters have the potential to impact Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV). Governmental agencies require seagrass (or SAV) surveys to protect this economically and ecologically valuable natural resource.
-
Tree Protection
From the initial Native Tree Inventory, identifying specimen trees to be preserved on site, to preparing a Tree Protection Plan, to implementing and installing those protection measures, we can help!
